Why is it the end bolts that hold the rear seat backrest to the floor seize and then shear off! Ive had three cars do the same, its a right pain to drill them out! Mind you my TXD now had lovely GTi leather seats (and 16v wheels) in it! Slippy and cold tho !

They don't if you get underneath and oil them first :lol:
They think it's all over, it is now!

True, didnt realise they went through underneath tho until I snapped the it! then when I drilled it i got daylight!

I have very recently encountered the same problem :D thankfully the Waxoyl must have got onto most of them as only one snapped, tis a bit cold and slippery though isnt it, still, wait for the summer and we can probably burn our arses too :D
