Next time some childish moderator decides to ALTER a post, just remember I can change it back to how it was correctly written.

How was it written then?

Last time I worked on an XU the dipstick was on the front. Mind you it was a valver engine, and given that the blocks are largely the same externally I assumed they were the same. Might well be wrong though, but still intrigued to see what it was you wrote.

You'll need to be careful making accusations like that. I'll be willing to bet a fair amount that no moderator has altered your post.

Certainly wsn't me, I've been in work all arvo, and just got home.

So thats two odd forum things happening in two days....

Think we need to some investigation here if someone has access to the moderator table that we dont know about, I rather think we should.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Stone me Kiwi! :? This forum is a beacon of peace and light compared to some out there ................ if that's all you've got to worry about then you're lucky.

On a few other forums I frequent, you'd get canned for chucking accusations and abuse around at the mod team like that ......

Not on here you don't Bob

TBH, this is so mild in the offence stakes compared to what's happened in the past.

Got to agree with Kiwi on this one, a bit annoying to have things altered to stir up trouble....

 I'll remember that next time someone insults the dim old German geezer in the corner.

But this sort of thing happens all the time on a shooting forum I moderate on .......... In fact it's almost expected with some of the forum halfwits that a mod subtlely tweaks their posts (not that I'm suggesting ol' Kiwi's....sort've .... you know ..... challenged or nothing like that).  It's all part of the great tapestry of on-line life ........ isn't it?

Personally, I really don't see the problem Kiwi's having. You've got post editing enabled in the forum software so, if somebody's futzed with what you wrote, you can easily go back and alter it. (You can bonk their dog/cat/gerbil later, by way of revenge if that's what inflates your Lilo :D )

I must be getting old(er) ....... I've completely lost the urge to punch people's lights out for annoying me on internet forums!

I'm trying to understand your frustration Kiwi - I can sure feel it. But it's only words on a screen. And even when you lot are buggering about, people like me are still learning bucketloads about BX's from people like you - edited or not. My posts get altered all the time on my other forum - mainly because I talk unadulterated testicles - but even so, I don't get upset ............

Relax mate! Your fund of knowledge comes across regardless of a few words getting futzed-with and, to be honest, it's lightened the place up a bit. (It gets a bit like a public library in here at times - you guys could do with a few beers and a pool table  )
