Reloading my Matrix other parts needed?

Post by Stewart (oily!) » Thu Dec 15, 2005 5:56 pm

I am about to fit my new heater matrix, to those of you who have done this: Is there a gasket between the oblong flange and the water valve?
I will need to get all parts ready before I start.

Just a pair of "O" rings if memory serves.
They think it's all over, it is now!

No gasket, there are flat surfaced rubber rings recessed into area around the two holes in the valve bit. Although it doesn't appear that it will seal, when I reassembled there were no leaks
