Alloy Wheel Bolts

Post by roody262 »

Does anyone know off the top or their head, or would be so kind as to measure the wheel bolts required for the BX Speedline Alloys (5.5j). I know they are a flat seat bolt with a captive washer, need to know the length from the washer to the end of the thread.

I've had a set refurbished for the TZD estate and need a set of wheel bolts.

Cheers,
Dan

I take it then the wheel bolts for steel wheels will not fit a set of speedlines....damn it!

Not even slightly. Nor will the visually similar wheel bolts for many peugeot alloy wheels.

The bolts needed for speedline SL311's are 43mm from the back of the captive washer to the tip of the bolt. The visually similar Peugeot bolts are 35mm, and although will fit a speedline SL311 and torque up, they are holding on about 1.5 threads, and WILL fail.
this might be a signature
