Are Reversing lights tested in a UK MOT?

sure if youtr interested .The hand break was very weak, so needto replace discs and pads.

When I stayed in High Wycombe and Flackwell Heath, I used to always take my car for test at Car Specialists in Piddington. The only other place which I've used is Barton Reynolds on London Rd. Both places get a thumbs up from me for fair testing.

hi.Itwas a fair test.
It was Mr clutch along the london road, went there last year for BX mot and they offered to sponsor me for the Bxagon, i didnot ask after chatting with the wife.
Also rate Pedestal garage west wycombe.

Might it not be the hand brake cable if the discs and pads were ok on the foot brake?

it might just need the usual BX hand brake adjustment,

on level ground hand brake off, engine running, press brake pedel hard two or three times, this should adjust the self adjustters in the callipers up, as 9 times out of 10 they dont adjust up in normal use,

The Bx hand break works fine it is the 406 that is problem.

When i got my car a couple of weeks back. Mine didnt work. And it wasnt the bulbs iether. Got a amp tester on it. There was no amps going to the lights. But all the others was ok

have you checked the switch onthe gearbox if you short out the connector at the switch the lights should come on.My problem is I can see the switch, but need to remove parts of the engine to get at it.

Im not to sure. Ive taken it to a to a citroen specailist. To sort out all the electrics. My boot was from another bx. Its got a 16 valve boot lid in black. So the place where i got it from. Mabye couldnt be bortherd to hook it up. properlly.
