XM/Xantia Doseur valve for a BX?

Hi,
Can an XM or Xantia doseur valve be fitted on a BX 19GTI? Mine is on its way out.

Yep!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Several actually, I know of four. A number of Xantias, one XM, DSs and a grounded C something!

Yes, but it'll fit!

Phoenix has an XM unit, and the TD has a Xantia one.
IIRC all I had to do was undo a bolt that is actually a metering valve and move it to another port..

in fact the spring at the bottom end is different for the Xantia and XM, the spring is tougher than that on the BX doseur, but it's an easy swap, only the bottom end must be removed using a hidraulic press and a circlip pliers

That's what i thought, but quite often that doesn't fit the context in use.

The alternative is "F*ck the world", but again, rarely fits :?
