missing a interia boot light

You know when you open the boot. They should be a light that comes on.
On the left side. Theres a gap. Where a light should be. And theres a wire. That does not conect to anything. Could this be for the boot light.
I looked in the manaul. And the light wires look abit more longer. But this wire is quite short. With a plastc end on it. What connects into somthing.
I saw a easte. Boot light. On ebay. Could that fit for it. Or if anyone got a spear one. Give us a pm.

Yes there should be a light there at the left hand side. Also check first that the wires are there as there should be more than just one.

There should also be a switch for the light that is fitted into a circular hole just above the light - is that missing too?

Don't know for sure if the estate light is the same - anyone confirm? Tim?

yes just one wire.
Would be nice to get it up to scrach. But im not worried about it. If i get a light would it come with more wires. Or should the car have more. To connect it place.
It might have got damege. When it got ran it the back of the car. So when they replace. The boot. They didnt brother. Putting a new one in.

The better one to fit would be the light that's mounted in the roof of the estate, it's brighter and swivels to switch on/off, very easy to convert.
