Picked up a genuine cable for the pricely sum of £1 off ebay, so looking to change the one on the 88 F 16TRS, which has I assume has the BE1 box as reverse is next to first.
It looks a fiddly but reasonable straight forward job.
Any pointers or things to watch for please chaps? I will lube the cable before I install it.

I know on the 1400's you can actually see and remove the rubber boot that covers where the cable locates onto the back of the pedal. Unless this is possible on yours, I'd recommend taking the pedal box out.
