My TD estate goes really well once the turbo kicks in, but below that it's a flat as a flat thing that's just had a heavy weight dropped on it.
I know they're all a bit like that but my other one pulls a lot better low down, and the one I had before that was even better.
However the other one smokes a lot more and the one before was just a mobile smokescreen - this one hardly smokes at all, even when you boot it to overtake.
So maybe it's just that the pump is set more economically or something? It averages about 45mpg.
It doesn't really worry me that much - if I want to go fast I'll ride/drive something different, but it's a bit of a pain when towing a trailer. Any ideas for anything obvious I may have missed?
