Green Y piece on top of LHM tank

Yup, it decided to break, i've used some glue to stick it back together as a temporary measure, but i'm sure it'll fall apart again. Does anyone have a spare laying about, quite happy to sort out postage etc... or can these still be purchased new? or has anyone created their own replacement? I think i remember seeing a picture of one where a couple of holes had been drilled in the top cap so that the clear thin pipes would fit into them.

Apologies for this post if it seems daft, i'm pretty sure that i've never seen any lhm actually going from these pipes into the y piece ever, but knowing my luck it'll piss out lhm at some point.

When my first one disintegrated Mulley, I used a windscreen washer 'Y' piece, and just warmed the pipes using a hot air gun until they slipped over it.

Hi Mulley,

I think that's yes according to THIS thread (part no 5270.14 ) also there some on E-BAY but its not Green (Orange and the part no is quoted as 5280.E2 ) but one would assume it probably will fit being fairly flexible when new but maybe best check the part number first with the main dealer before buying it !

unless anyone else has got a spare that they deffo don't want/need. If anyone is going to a scrappies, could they salvage said part please?

1.5mm drill bit in a drill.
Drill two holes in the cap, insert pipes into freshly made holes.
Cost = nil.

or you can buy a widscreen washer plastic three way union from a factors, for a pound or two,

then add three short lengths of small bore rubber hydraulic tube, for each of the three plastic pipes to plug into
