Rear Spoiler Fitting

Hi Richard

If you go to page 17 on the technical forum index the 3rd one down is the high level brake light thread i started it has pictures on there.
I would post a link but i don't know how too! Sorry

Yes im going to the national all been well.Dont know what car im going in yet.Would it fit in the back of a Xantia?

Easily, it'll go in a BX, so it'll fall into a Xantia..

I have never tried to fit a tailgate into a bx as it has always been fitted to the car.

Me and Kitch managed to squeeze a 16v tailgate into the back of my AX, so I'd be shocked if it didn't go into a Xantia

Ive decided that older tailgates Must be cast different.Ive managed to drill and pop on my push chair handle tail spoiler.However im having terrible difficulty in the reason im having to cut through the inner skin to get to the bolts.There are no pre-cast marks where there were on the tailgate it came off im sure.Never the less its going on whether it likes it or not!
Looking good,its now got front fogs,chin spoiler and rear spoiler,Tailblazer and headlamp covers.Going to book her in at the garage for hydraulic leak sorting so i can get suspension up and fit the Speedline alloys ive got waiting in the garage at home so hopefully she may see the road by summer after her near terminal rest in the field.

does that mean i don't have to bring the tailgate to the national.
Or is there somebody else that want's one with a brake light in the spoiler.

Well its all fitted so thanks to Kermit of the offer for a tailgate but i dont need it now thanks..Managed to break the rear window in the process but its all done now.Must of twisted tailgate pressing on or something cutting holes to get to bolt heads and heard a loud pop and byebye rear screen.Bradford Windscreens were up the next morning and fit a new one and it didnt even rain.

I will remove the spoiler and wiring and bring that to the national so if anyone wants it it will be there

I am going to take some more of the useful bit's off of my old TZD and then get the rest taken away as i don't have space to keep it.
It resides at the moment in a neighbours garage and they need the space to clear their loft ready for a loft extention to get started.
