Or £5 on E-BAY, okay not O/E but less than 1/2 price delivered to your door !citronut wrote:95622818 LEAK BACK HOSE 10.04 GBP 11.80 GBP 11.80 GBP
Also note that this item does NOT fit an Xantia as the seller maybe suggesting as they only have one leak off pipe (The same as an XM) the BX has two (One to vent and one return pipe) !

Those cheapo's from gsf are rubbish, mine lasted less than 2yrs, i reckon originals will last at least 3 times that if not more.....i'd spend the extra, i'm just going to use up my rubbish one's & then i'll fit the proper one's when i get to them

Ah, I didn't know that...! I'd always wondered, never got round to finding out, and have been using cable ties successfully for the past ten years instead!Mike E (uk) wrote:In case you don't know, the trick to getting the new clip on is to use pincers, the type you use to pull nails out of planks.

As I say, I've never managed to fit one of the original clips - just use good quality cable ties and have never had a problem.

if/when useing other securing methods just retain the square stainless steel plate from the old clip, this will stop the likes of cable ties squeezing the rubber block to tight at its middle, as this will cause it to kick out at each end and leak

Roverman (Tim) Yeah, i hope to be at the show on the sunday,
Im off to Ken Newbolds in the morning to get both rear bearings sorted as there knackered, ive also just changed both bottom ball joints and the n /s drop link arm, 50200 miles on the clock and the old girls starting to cost a few bob!!! i must say the front end feels lovely and tight again, this time tomorrow i hope the rear isnt creaking and cracking, and the wheels dont look like a dropped V-Dub!!
