I love Citroens!! Brought up with DS and ID. Briefly owned a DS convertable. Imported and drove loads of 2 and 3CVs in early 70s. Owned AMI and GS models and then got my first BX in 1989 (lhd GT).
I have had Diesel Turbo models ever since, and essentially do not want any other vehicle. Cheapest and most reliable motoring ever, and no beastly electronics to go wrong. I do almost all maintenance myself, and am lucky enough to have a friendly Citroen trained mechanic for serious stuff......OK I am obsessed!!
MY QUESTION...probably insane!!.... my wife has a Xantia 2.1 turbo. It is starting to get a bit of decay on the rear subframe, and may pass another MOT. However, when it doesn't, is it possible to fit the HUD11 2.1 12v engine into a BX??
