given that it looks rather robust, i wonder if the car has been modified for camera work, say a dog driving the car past a camera or similar

It is rather robust isn't it, but Dollywobbler is closest it seems in its application to the american "postie".

There's a mass of reaction to the picture where it was previously posted, even one saying we Brits don't drive on the right because we were opposed to the idea as this was a change that originated and was intoduced by Napoleon. :)

Stating the obvious, why doesn't the postal office import cars that are LHD? And you need long arms to reach all the other controls.

It would be a bit tricky explaining that to the insurance company at renewal time.

I just really worry about the belt slipping at really unhelpful moments!!! Doeesnt bear thinking about.

As an aside, some american RHD conversions way back in the 60's and 70's on things like AMC ramblers etc were like this but all the working hidden behind the dash, what the owner doesnt know wont hurt him eh?
