16 valve exhaust manifold
16 valve exhaust manifold
Hi all anyone had experience of cracks in exhaust manifold? As u look at the manifold from above u can see evidence of some cement anything else i can try dont want to have to mess around with sheared exhaust studs would it weld up in situ not much room help!! Would some liquid metal work ? cheers.

Taking it off and welding it up is the only way.
You can try Chemical Metal or anything you like similar but 1: They can't handle the heat and 2: As the manifold expands & contracts it'll just break free.
If it's that bad just source a replacement, they come up quite often on ebay...
