HP pump rattle/clatter

Picking up the GT donor car tomorrow, so looking forward to having an explore around her..

But in the mean time... can anyone make the distinction between an HP pump rattling due to it being worn/tired and the kind of clatter sound my HP pump does currently. The question is almost academic as I will be swapping the pump out soon enough, but keen to know whether it is actually a tired pump or maybe just air in the system causing the noise. The hose clamps are pretty tight but at the reservoir end I am not sure whether it is totally air tight, especially given that the hose is pretty hard now. I think I have bled the system, but i guess you can never tell.

Have you checked the belt? I've seen very noisy pumps caused by just a knackered belt skidding and jumping. Gibbo.
