FDV rebuild

Hi All,

I have just rebuilt my FDV following the excellent description on the FAQ forum. There is a small o-ring seal in the repair kit left over after the job, and I can't remember seeing one when I removed and dismantled the FDV. The seal is shown at the top left of this picture taken from the FAQ post:

Does anyone know what this o-ring seal is for? Perhaps it has something to do with the pressure adjustment screw that is recommended not to touch?

nupe not the pressure adjustment screw washer that much I do know. For the life of me I can not remember what went where but I am 100% certain I never had a little o ring spare.
