Sun visor

Post by scarecrow »

Every BX I've owned I break the bloody sun visor - it's gone all floppy and loose and I keep hitting my head on it. I don't suppose there is an easy fix on these (other than velcro  )?

Cheers

Not really, best just to replace it with a good known one, they just wear with age,
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Drivers side Richard, thanks. I'll check the exact colour - but I seem to remember dark blue/grey.

I don't think I'm particularly rough with the visor. The last one did end up being ripped out and thrown in the back for hitting me in the face once too often

When I get another I'll take this one to bits to see if there is a fix, Tim. It'll be good practice for doing a strut one day.

I've tried to put a home made clamp around the pivot and then keep on tightening up the pinch bolt /screw.
It works most of the time !
