BX estate max payload

BX 19TXD estate- Anyone know the max weight you can load one up with without things breaking or driving becoming dodgy?

If it's evenly distributed then 100Kg of that can be on the roof.

Well it had a busy day yesterday and the heaviest load was about 480 KG ,which it handled fine ,just had to slow down for roundabouts a bit :P

Erm... 1.2 tonnes (of paving bricks)...

Things broken: Rear seat bends and door pull falls off...

Official blurb with driver is 543 kg or 10.69 cwt which doesn't seem very high.

I also go with the theory of when it won't rise, you have too much in 8)
as I found out when I tried to leave a builders yard with concrete bricks in!!

I found that with 1200 reclaimed roofing slates distributed between the load space and a trailer, it wouldn't rise any more...

Fortunately only had 30 miles to do... :oops:
