BX16V K light

My K warning light keeps going on.

It goes out if I rev up to the limiter, but then comes on again.

I suspect damp on the crankshaft position sensor. Just done 330 miles, so car good and hot, but light still going on from time to time.

any ideas?

Can be the knock sensor Mike, assuming you have one on yours? If so it might be worth removing and cleaning the contact surface rather than going straight for a new one. My K plate needed a new one with similar symptoms

If it has a K light it's almost certain to have a knock sensor.

And I'd start there, since the K light pretty much only ever seems to come on with knock sensor issues.
What fault code are you getting?
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
