36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty
7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs
4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's
3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group

5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy
4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"
13 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs"

i cant remember for sure regarding BX's but earlier citroens the rear fog's oly worked with dipped beam on, and not with main or side lights,

UK anyhow,

i suspect they have upside down fog in AUZ/NZ :lol:

I was talking about MKII later model BX which has a differant dashlayout.

On the MKI the slider lego switch prevents the Main Bean Headlamps working when the rear foglights are on.

A good setup because as it is on the MKII you can easily not notice if the rear foglights are on or not.

Rear Foglights on cars in Australia or New Zealand are not required to be fitted only the european import models features them. However if they are fitted they must be working which is ironic because reversing lights do not have to be working :?

Only use for rear foglights is to get rid of tailgaters 8)

Just for clarification, I was meaning that out of the two scenarios you might want to use rear fog lights (with either sidelights or dipped beam) they only operate with dipped beam.
I hadn't even considered checking them with main beam on... :lol:
