Identifying correct octopus

More on octopuses!

I've located octopuses, but for a slightly more recent ORG number (essentially early 1991 instead of early 1990).

The parts number is different but I have no knowledge of how much and/or in what way my January 1990 BX 19TZi octopus might have been changed by early 1991.

I wondered whether anyone would know in UK, as there are far more BXs there than here.

if you give me the last 8 digits of your chassis/VIN No. i will get you the corect OE part No. for your car,

but im 99% sure the one your looking at will be fine, as from faidding memorry the main diference is power or steering or not

Our VIN number is VF7XBEZ0000E28004 and the car has power steering. They were well optioned for Australia (and so expensive that only 6 Estates were sold in Western Australia as far as I know. Ours is a Jan 1990 build 19 TZi.

Malcolm, you are correct there are 2 different versions of the big octopus, pas & non pas versions. Not sure if there is just the single version of the small octopus or not?

both early and later cars with power steering are the same as below for the main octapussy,

below is a return i would call the main power steering return, this one has two types/part No.'s, the first one for diesel cars and the second for petrol cars,
