My 1987 petrol 16 TRS had the pump in that location.

As does the 19 4x4.
Yes they do, but both these are still alot different from the 6+2 pump mounting arrangements, also the drive pulley on the 6+2 pump is multi vee groove pulley, instead of the single vee belt pulley found on BX hydraulic pumps.

I have already found a new nut in my boxes of bits!
You might be better off getting a nyloc nut or finding a bolt long enough to take 2 nuts so it's firmly locked in place - wouldn't want it to fall off again.

it was 30 something plus vat and the rubber inserts are 1.50 ish a piece.i bought four so i have some spare............
its not cheap but i think the postage is ok compared to the price of a pipe.i seriously thought about trying to buy the tool to make it.problem is i need the car back on the road asap to use and im planning on selling it once the spring arrives and i can move the roadster on so not an ideal solution but the best compromise given the circumstances for me.

Buying the tool to make the pipe (large 6.35mm) will be 200 quid, plus your roll of 8meteres of pipe and unions and its a 250 quid job. I know because i went down this avenue when my BX14 was giving trouble.

I may still buy it all when ive got the cash spare, i like to be prepared and ive owned enough hydraulic cits to justify it.
