mr grenman how can i have almost suggested something?
time taken so far to make the remote central locking work about 35 minutes and remembering to buy a fiver of batteries from wilkinsons.
angle of the dangle photography skills done for my own personal ammusement-i have a sense of the ridiculous too.
the point of fixing it is because i can. i dislike things that dont work.

My neighbours think im bonkers for having so many cars, cant imagine what yours would make of that! 6ft is very good though, normally2/3 is the best I can manage on my TZI. The TRS with aftermarket works from about 20ft! 8)

I got mine to work from a universal programmable TV remote... The range was about double that of the standard plip, but it doesn't fit on the keyring quite as nicely.

Seriously though, I'd happily live with a key, and have done fine in the past, but even a crappy remote is better than none. Just makes life that little bit easier, especially when the locks are frozen
