The grey one this time... Seems to be leaking from this rubber joint. Anybody know where the pipe goes, and if the rubber joint is easy to find/replace? Seems to be jubilee clipped on, is that how it should be?
Going to be up on a ramp tomorrow, so it would be the ideal time to sort it.
Cheers,
Matt
Another leak... Identification help please!
the usual leak at that point is the plastic pipe pops out of the short rubber coupling pipe, and usualy if the acumalator sphere is flat,
if its the brubber section died this is more dificult as it has a large openning one end and a very small openning the other,
this joint is usualy clamped with those snap together metal clamps,

Those jubilee clips look to be a larger size than they needed to be (significant length has been pulled through when it was tightened to form a long 'tail'). Sometimes the flat area under the screw can distort the rubber to leave gaps which will leak - you could try using jubilee clips that are only just big enough for the job - or use similar clips which are formed from round wire which can do a better job.
