Blower dramas

Post by NZ16v »

hey guys,

I have had the joy of pulling out my heater matrix etc after having my wires pop out of their clips due to stiff movement. Got them back in, got stuff working again...or so i thought.

I now have no heat going to the demister when it is turned on. i have plenty of air, just not hot!

AM sure it is one of theflaps in the unit in the scuttle panel area, but if someone can point me in the exact area, i would be most appreciative.
Cheers!

Sounds like the heater tap cable is not opening the heater tap.

Thats what you posted initially

The flap that allows air to the demister has a lever on the passenger side of the unit near the top. Not sure what cable goes to it but access would be via removing the glovebox.

I just checked a unit that I have lying around so yes there is a lever on that side but as for access and whats attached to it I could not say.
