correct 91 TD bottom rad hose..

hi - i'm having difficulty getting the right part no for the bottom rad. hose on my 1991 TZD... Looking at the Citroen service site - the part no should be:

95638588

according to AEP though this is for a 92 onwards...

Main dealer in Bristol doesn't recognise that part number at all and thinks it should be 95640596 which has the side pipe on and is for the N/A diesel I'm sure...


Anyone have the right number or even a spare hose they could sell me?

did you enter the last 8 digits of your chassi/VIN No. on service citroen,

if you did that should give you the corect pipe/part No. for your car,

Yes, I've tried that and that's what the Main Dealer did over the phone...

The Characteristics seems to give me the correct car - BX, 5 door estate, turbo diesel, XUD7TE...

When I go back to the Mechanical > Engine > Cooling section some of the car models have gone and for Water Piping I only see The 1.8 / 1.9 N/A diesels / no Turbo models....

If I don't specify my VIN I can see these


not sure what's going on here...

For some reason the turbo diesel model water pipings (as well as the petrol ones) seem to be listed under label "water piping - regulator" rather than "water piping".

Hi - Thanks but it's odd I still don't get a Turbo Diesel option with my VIN...

I can see the Water Piping Regulator until RP 05637 if I don't specify my VIN which I'm pretty sure is the correct parts page...

Bottom Hose - 95 638 588
Oil Cooler Hoses - 96 015 636 and 1307 J5
Water Outlet Hose - 96 020 099

These all look like they could do with being changed...

I think AEP must have got their parts numbers / dates wrong for this part..
