I thought I'd 'whip' out the pedal box this morning and drop it off at my local back street garage to weld / strengthen the frame as the accelerator bracket is very weak and bent out sideways...the only down side with the one Citroën might supply now will be, that silly little nylon colar you have to snap into the boss of the outter cable, were it ,mounts into the pedle box
I just can't seem to get enough cable slack to move the box enough to unclip the clutch cable..... I've slackened off the cable at the gearbox end and removed it from the clutch arm / I've removed the throttle cable and all pedal box bolts...
My 91 TZD has a white plastic bit that I think Malcolm is referring to above... What's the trick with this? Do you need to pull out this clip before the end of the cable? I really don't want to break anything and have to replace the whole cable!
