Estate rear bumper removal

Post by sdelasal »

okay - I've removed the four torx screws on the top lip of the bumper and i've removed the bolts holding the two brackets underneath. So now it's attached with side brackets - except I can't figure out how to release them and I don't want to break any old/fragile plastic by forcing it .... anyone got any advice please?

Just slide it backwards and the clips will come off.

okay - are the clips part of the bumper then? So I just slide the bumper back & then out when the clip is clear? Do I need to remove the trim on the bumper? I hope not!

If you look at the gap between the rear lights & the top of the bumper you should see some discs, these are the bolt heads, pop the rear lights off & then you can take out the bolts.
