Diesel fuel pipes

Post by Philip Chidlow »

New pipes are on, but the rubber pipes at the front are looking old and tired, with some cracking starting to show. There are the two pipes to consider and the one that goes to the pump looks a special part in particular - and access for both is tricky to say the least.

Any ideas for sourcing replacements (are they available from GSF/Citroen I wonder?) or has anyone experience in splicing in new sections?

Again, any advice welcome!

PS I haven't checked the rear/tank end, so what's likely to need checking/replacement there?!

You can use normal fuel piping - for both ends - purchased by the metre rather than having to get anything exclusively Citroen. I changed all these pipes as they were past their best.

Thanks, I'll ask Kermit nicely...

Access to the one that goes to the fuel heater seems to be virtually impossible without moving a load of stuff out of the way!
