AX wing mirror same as MK 1 BX?

Is this true? Is an AX wing mirror the same as a MK 1 BX?
Those on feebay seem pretty similar but can anyone confirm this?

The AX one is pretty small, but if they\'re not the same they\'re very similar. The BX is the same as the earlier Pug 205 IIRC.

The baseplates are different though, so I can\'t see them being viable alternatives unless you can strip em down and reassemble.

Now they arent, the mirror itself is butthe base plate (as Kitch pointed out) is different. Im sure you could probably make a good one out of a new AX mirror and your old one.

BUT bear in mind you car is LHD, and the mirrors are different from RH to LH drive cars.

Oh hell, well, i have a mirror, works fine but the internal adjustor has snapped off.

you used to be able to buy just the control arm from citroen,
i just looked it up and they only show the MK2 mirror and component now,

i will look to see if i have an arm otherwise someone on here might have a completly smahed mirror/head with a good arm,
