gti 4x4 clutch change

Well after much putting it off I have started. It has taken 2 of us most of the day to get to the stage of wondering, now that most of the bolts and ancilliaries are off,how it physically comes out. I will post some pics tomorrow the 4x4 box if a fair old extra lump

I thought the engine and box had to come out together to do the clutch on the 4x4?
