Pipe and Connectors supplier?

Post by hvanman »

Hi, I am going to need to splice in some new high pressure pipe, but now that pleiades is no longer around, could anyone suggest a good source for male connectors, female joiners and a length of 3.5mm pipe?

Thanks, Simon

Thanks Kevan, sadly I can't see any 3.5mm products on their web site that could be used to joint the existing pipes...

They are open, I bought a reconditioned/exchange brake valve from them a couple of weeks ago.

Great, Thanks Neil, I will try them tomorrow, would be a pity if they were no longer around, but they don't make it easy for people to buy from them with no web site etc..

I'm sure the 1/8 (3.2mm) or the 4mm nylon tube would easily do with the tollerances in the connectors.

Well it's what is used for all the very high pressure air brake systems on all HGV trucks and coaches and I've never had one burst, rub through yes but burst no!

''Suitable for lube, air & fuel line''.
W.P. = working pressure.

Yebbut, isn't a Cit suspension system working at about 15 times the pressure of an HGV air brake system...?
