Annoying rattle

I've got one. :evil:
And so has the car... :lol:

Just in the last few weeks, at tickover and sometimes when the engine's under load at low revs, there's a deep rumble/rattle that appears to be coming from the bulkhead area on the passenger side (RHD car). Trouble is I can't seem to hear it from inside the engine bay. I've had the glovebox out and secured everything under there - no change. Sounds like it might be the exhaust knocking against something but I've had the car up on the ramp and delved about underneath and can't find anything. Any ideas...?

Check the big high pressure hose that's supposed to be clipped to the right hand chassis side, under the air filter. I've known these make a frightening knocking noise on tickover.
They think it's all over, it is now!

Finally got round to getting the car up on the ramp and it was ineed the big HP hose which was at fault. The clip on the chassis rail had broken and the hose was flopping about. A couple of cable ties and a bit of bicycle inner tube so it doesn't fret on the chassis and all is well. Well, apart from the leaking injector pump, the slightly marginal clutch, the creaky struts, the worn-out windscreen....
