how to change rear wiper on bx19 txd

Hello, does anyone have any tips on how to change rear wiper blade on a bx 19txd and how to get round the obstacle of the spoiler, cheers

Using a 13mm ring spanner, undo the nut, undo the wiper arm, swop blade and the reverse proceedure.

Or presumably you could turn the ignition key to stop the wiper at the top of its travel? Something I always tend to do when using an automatic car wash... (not done that for years!)

Nope, that trick doesn't work, its as per Tim's answer. You might find the arm difficult to get off the spindle, what i do is get a flat blade screwdriver (large blade), pop it underneath the arm section where it fits round the spindle (make sure you put something underneath the shank of the screwdriver to stop damaging the edge of your boot) & then with a short & swift movement lever it up. If its not wedged on too tight, you might not need to use a screwdriver.
