Door check straps

Post by Dollywobbler »

How easy is it to replace the door check straps and can you get them? My doors don't stay open. Most of the doors will be coming off to be replaced by rather less rotten ones, which may make things easier?

Going to need some tailgate struts as well I think. Nowt worse than a heavy tailgate crashing onto your head!

Ah, how convenient...

Um, I mean. No, they can't possibly be fitted to the doors. I'm sure I would have seen them!

Guess I'll soon find out how they are fitted then!

Lol I imagine they have retracted inside the doors, they are only held on by a couple of 10mm nuts.

I have a couple you can have next time you are up here. If they are handed then both mine are for the passenger side.
