abs sensors

ok, I feel I should realy get round to mending the ABS, its not worked for the last 3 years and the resistor trick, while working from an MOT point of view, doesn't actualy make it work when you slam the brakes on...

what have other people done to fix ABS sensors now that you can't get hold of them anymore? I remember someone saying something about another make that can be coaxed into fitting...

I have not tried it myself but I remember some people having a good result from replacing the Co-axial cable with something from Maplins.
