Is it not the drain tubes being blocked & the roof fills with water & eventually runs over the sides, & the water takes the path of least resistance everytime & thats why the water can appear in the car in different places?

I think I have finally fixed my water leak. I have sealed the roof cappings using Sikaflex 512 sealer and given the car a good hosing down, so far so good, although I wont celebrate until after a few good downpours. I wonder if this is a more common problem than people realise looking at pictures of rusted A pillars on here. A small leak will drain out behind the front wheel arch liners possibly without the owner realising there's a problem. I think my txd might be suffering the same problem as that too has a mystery water leak all be it not as bad.
