Blown fuse?

Driving back from Mulleys on Sunday, I noticed that the horn and the heated rear windscreen have stopped working in my Hurricane - they were both perfectly fine whenever the last time I tried them was (not long ago). Does anyone know if they're on the same electrical circuit as it could just be a blown fuse? I could of course just look in the fuse box but haven't had time yet.

Yes Paul fuse 8 do's both those its a 25 amp
1991 BX Meteor 1.6

Thanks Mick. That was my diagnosis. I'm sure my mechanical skills can stretch to changing a fuse - just!

That was my worry, until I checked the fuse box today; everythings fine (?). All I can think is that when I had the new door rehung something didn't get reconnected up properly? - it was all fine before I had the new door.

i cant see why any wireing to do with re/hanging a door should stop the horn from working, and likewise unless it were a tailgate you had re/hung,

Neither can I! But it's the only thing recently that might have interfered with the electrics.

Dear Paul.
Use a test-light Paul to check whether you have a feed on your horn
and on the terminals for the heated rear window too. :wink: It is the first
place to start at Paul. If you feeds at both of those, then you are looking
for a faulty earth connection. :wink:
