Bosch batteries all day long for me. Got one on the valver, it can sit for 3 months or so and still fire up fine. Same for the motorbike.

Looked at Bosch - expensive, £100+ for the one I wanted, even the cheapest was more expensive than the Varta one I went for. Did sound good though.

I always go by the mantra "buy cheap pay twice". It is true you always get what you pay for. I got both Bosch batteries via halfords online. They usually have online only offers whereby you order and pay online and collect in store. Worth keeping an eye on halfords site. Not always the cheapest I agree.

I went to see it in early Feb and decided to buy it, see This thread.

Ha, you must have thought me just some strange car-identity-confused vauxhall-type who ended up at a Citroen car show 220 miles from home! I'm not strange, queer yes, but not strange

Yep getting it Saturday 3pm, not allowed to tinker until i've finished my exams, but worry not! There will be pictures aplenty, and a blog starting early June (last exam = 1st June).

Needless to say i'm rather excited, especially as I have found some very cheap insurance. So that isn't going to be the issue I thought it might.

Varta and Bosch are the same company nowadays I think though, and their batteries got pretty much identical test results in PPC magazine recently.

Avoid Calcium Batteries if you can.

Calcium batteries when they do go flat need a differant charger than the traditional trickle chargers sold in the auto stores. Your home charger will not charge a calcium battery to full strength and neither will a long distance drive after flaterning them.

It's not something that i even notice tbh, i like people for who they are rather than what they get upto in the privacy of their own home. I'm sure there must be at least one cross dressing club member somewhere, but unless they turned upto a meet in a dress & heels, i'd never know

That is a very nice attitude to have Mulley! Thank you.

Is that a dare?! I think it's great fun to dress up, the occasion doesn't arise very often. Last one was a hen party I attended, I was only allowed to go if I put a dress on, so...

I dunno if I want to post a pic or not. I've come over all shy (doesn't happen much).
