my mates got one of those colour tune gizmos and I wanted to use it to set up the mixture ,however it wont fit in the spark plug hole in the head because its too deep.
Is there some sort of adaptor you can get to use these on the BX ?

Re: colourtune
People still use those things? I got rid of mine because I could never find an adaptor to fit the BX. I would imgine unless someone enginnered one the odds of finding one is slim.Mickey taker wrote:my mates got one of those colour tune gizmos and I wanted to use it to set up the mixture ,however it wont fit in the spark plug hole in the head because its too deep.

I remember the Colourtune...
But then I remember post-war rationing... and I remember dad complaining that you didn't get much change from a pound when buying 4 gallons of petrol

When I first bought my business I was selling petrol at four gallons for £1.00 and throwing in a pair of ladies nylon tights as a bonus.
The first petrol I sold when I left school in 1950 was 'pool' petrol i.e. no brand name and it was one shilling and eleven pence a gallon,
Mars bars were nearly twice the size they are now and cost 3d, such is life!
