I told you the radiator route was easier!
IIRC all the coil current runs through the keyswitch. This is a heavy current, perhaps 8A, so should really have a relay.

It's alright, I got it off in the end... looks like the starter only has 2 out of the 3 bolts holding it on!
Should get it all back together today.
