Spheres

I looked at it again today and compared it with the accumulator I'd just removed, and the accumulator has a much bigger and deeper recess. Where the other spheres had a simple 1 mm or so hole, this one has a small recess 3 to 4 mm diameter and a similar depth, although I can see the normal 1 mm or so hole at the bottom of the recess.
More to the point is that I tried citronuts wire feeding test and it went in a good few inches, so I guess that means it's definitely a dud - I'd wished I'd done that in the shop - they are not exactly local.
