Fitting coolant temperature gauge

Post by BXnut »

I'm currently looking into retro fitting a coolant temperature gauge, because I've had intermittent problems with my coolant fans which I'm hoping I've finally fixed, and was wondering if any advice is available. Where best to fit? Where to get hold of one etc. I've managed to find one that lights up green to match the instrument pod here;

but it's £40 inc postage when all the other variants on colours are £20 at the most!!
Thanks in advance

I bought a (red) digital one a while ago but it didn't come with any threaded sections that match any part of a BX, so it never got fitted. Not very helpful, sorry!
