Strut return pipes

Post by Dollywobbler »

Ok, I don't want to fit any ol' rubbish. Where's the best place to buy some good ones? Preferably someone who delivers quickly as the car is on stands in the garage.

AEP do genuine Citroen parts if you can't get to a dealer.

As repeated from your Gallery thread.. I highly recommend a pair of these 'Clic' pliers to make life much easier re this job..

/\ Yes, you absolutely MUST have a pair of pincer type pliers, or you'll find it impossible to close the snap ring around the strut.
I use something like these

which are cheap, and effective!

I must admit, last time I just used a cable tie (but kept the metal bracket). I have pliers like the above but with a slight overlap and I still couldn't get the clip on.

I used to use very wide zip-clips... until I was told to get some pincers!
