have over the last couple of days done the conversion on my tgd from auto to manual fitted a new clutch in the process, was all pretty straight forward, even the driveshafts are the same on auto/manual xud9, bypassed the old gearbox lockout, parts used gearbox, flywheel, pedal box (req welding in usual place) new clutch NOS sourced on ebay for £25 valeo, gearstick/linkage assy, clutch cable, new driveshaft seals/oil, another bx saved from almost certain death and a very tidy car to boot, thanx for all yr tips and advise, now onto the next one.........

My 19 TGD was originally manual. It was converted to auto using a petrol gearbox with lower gearing so it went well enough but wasn't very economical as far as diesels go. Now it's back to manual and fitted with a Turbo Diesel
