Sticky heater control
Probably been asked before but when I try to turn the nob from hot to cold inside the car it feels lke it's going to snap off. I've taken the front panel off to change the bulbs so I may aswell try and fix that while it's off. Any advice would be gratefully recieved.

Re: Sticky heater control
don't yank too hard! or the cable will come off and it's a git to reattach.
sounds like the heater tap is bunged up and/or the cable's getting stuck though - so sooner or later you're going to have to delve behind the steering column and have a fiddle.
Vanny did a good write up with pictures about how to get to the tap/matrix here http://www.bxclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic ... 15&t=16299" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Good luck! Mine's currently stuck and won't go fully cold, so I've got that joy to come in the spring.
