Moto Lita used to sell them, but they don't list it on their website anymore. Could be worth giving them a ring. Tel : 01264 772811

'HZman' has a Three spoke steering wheel for the price of postage, you'll need to send him a PM to see if its inclusive of the boss ?
HZman wrote:Now sitting in my garage (the car, not me!) awaiting starter motor that works, after bump-starting to get it here (it was fine when I viewed it). Unfortunately couldn't find the spears previously referred to in various posts.
The £200 mentioned to restore the vehicle to almost concourse condition is slightly optimistic. I had viewed it the day before buying and marvelled at the way the photos had by-passed the ding in the offside wing - although, to be fair, it was mentioned by the guy I bought it off and the previous 'proper' owner (Gavin on the posts but Graham on the registration document) I located 2 red wings before buying - and a steering wheel for those who seem distressed about the one fitted (free to anyone that wants it - not including postage!).
....................
The steering wheel maybe exactly what your looking for without any further need for sourcing one of those too ?

Click on the Photo to the thread of 'HZman's' quote /\

The single spoke wheel is part of the bx character, I'm thinking you may have bought the wrong car?

Ahem! Not all BXs had a single-spoke steering wheel from the factory. I'm rapidly taking a shine to the four-spoke wheel in my TXD. So nice to have somewhere to rest the thumbs! (though I do like the single-spoke wheel, especially in the Mk1).

The boss on Ebay is the proper part.

I bought exactly the same thing many years ago for my BX.

It is designed to calapse if hit, to give some protection in a crash. Some aftermarket models arn't made to do this.

It is very pricy though, I paid about £25 I think, in 2003.

Citroen provided alternative steering wheels, including Momo. Even one with a wooded rim. So you are not loosing the faith by choosing an alternative.

I much prefer my Momo on the car, gives more knee room and is nicer to grip.
Plus the slightly smaller diameter gives a bit more response to the steering.

It might be clever now, but it won't be in the morning!
