It's not very representative, but I found that my 14TGE was softer than Timex, but then spheres for 14's are softer anyway, I assume because of the lesser weight of the model compared to the rest of the range.

On the other hand, the 14, despite supposedly having the same type spheres as those fitted to GS's and GSA's, wasn't as soft as my GS, although that may be down to the different suspension design and additional weight of the latter!
