no backlights in instrument cluster

no backlights in instrument cluster
have removed the instrument cluster to fit a temp gauge now reassembled i have no backlights in the cluster, i have 12v at the dimmer but no backlights, all the other indicator/warning lamps are working, i have 12v at pin 5 on the 8 way connector with ignition on, is this the power source for the backlights, any ideas? was all working prev.

Could be the dimmer that's faulty!
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

above prob now solved, on the back of the cluster there are 3 small 5mm head self tappers holding and joining the parts of the printed circuits together, after clearing the worktop i found the escapee screw, put it in job done 2 frustrating hours later.
